NSAG is Holding The Adelaide Hostage

The Administrative Appeals Tribunal has just completed the second day of hearing the case of No Ship Action Group (NSAG) verses The NSW State Govt re scuttling of the Adelaide.

In excess of 10 claims were lodged by NSAG in this case and by day 2 all but 2 claims have now been dropped by NSAG due to our proof that the Adelaide IS A CLEAN SHIP and will cause NO HARM to the environment” said Sue Dengate of  The Central Coast Artificial Reef Project (CCARP).

“Even the issue of PCBs, which was NSAG’s core claim has been dropped, as it is evident due to the work that has been carried out and the tests that have been done, that PCBs are not  a problem on the Adelaide” Said Sue Dengate

“NSAG has been scare-mongering since day one of their campaign by clutching at straws and continue to do so. As we prove that one claim is false, they try another one. They are just costing us (the people of NSW) all a lot of money for their own selfish agenda.” Sue Dengate said

“NSAG are holding The Adelaide hostage and the people of the Central Coast and NSW to ransom” said Sue “but we are confident that the Tribunal will come to the right conclusion and allow the Adelaide to be scuttled off Avoca / Terrigal”
