CCARP DEMANDS ANSWERS FROM AVOCA RESIDENTS GROUP

The Central Coast Artificial Reef Project (CCARP) called for the truth to come out following the release of the independent medical report of Dr Peter Lewis, which cleared the scuttling of the ex-HMAS Adelaide from any public health risks.

Ms Sue Dengate, the Secretary of CCARP, said “a complete copy of the email had now been provided to her committee and it appears that the Avoca Residents Group had the full report BEFORE the public rally on Avoca Beach, the Central Coast community was entitled to some answers”

  1. Were the “Quentin” and the “Ian” to whom the email report was addressed the same Quentin Riley and Dr Ian Charlton who had been leading the Avoca Residents Group?
  2. Did “Quentin” and “Ian” accept that they had the report several days before the Avoca Beach public rally?
  3. Do “Quentin” and “Ian” agree that the existence of the report was concealed from those who in good faith attended the public rally?

“These are not difficult questions” said Ms Dengate…”just a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ will do”.

“The Avoca residents, indeed the entire Central Coast deserve an honest answer (if that is possible) from these people” said Sue Dengate

“They have my mobile phone number…I await their call within 24 hours of this request appearing in the paper.” Said Ms Dengate
